The standard infection control precautions (SICPs): national hand hygiene and PPE policy aims to improve how knowledge and skills are applied in infection prevention and control, reduce the risk of HCAI's and help align practice, education, monitoring, quality improvement and scrutiny. All healthcare organisations must ensure that their culture promotes incident reporting, including near misses, while focusing on improving systemic failures and encouraging safe working practices. Managers of all services must ensure that staff have access to this policy and have had instruction education on infection prevention and control by attending events and or completing training, whilst ensuring it is an essential component in all personal development planning.

This webinar will explore the latest guidance and solutions to improving the performance of the (SICPs) whilst focusing on the 10 elements of care and innovations across surveillance, reporting and products.
